The Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) states that 1 in 5 people, or about 68 million people, in the United States currently have an STI (CDC 2021). About half of new cases of sexually transmitted infections are amongst the youth between the ages of 15-24 (CDC 2021). Here at University Health and Urgent Care, your privacy is extremely important to us. If you ever have any concerns in regards to sexually transmitted infections, we are here to help. In order to conduct an STI screening, a blood sample or a swab will be needed. Our staff is trained to take the samples on site, and we will call you with your results in a timely manner. Just walk in, and we will take care of the rest.
