There are a wide variety of infections that can cause interruption in your daily life. Infections are generally divided into two different categories: bacterial and viral infections. Bacterial infections typically cause illness or issues quickly. Viral infections typically have a slow onset and require viral replication in order to increase in amount and cause illness. Bacterial infections are generally treated with antibiotics if necessary. Viral infections generally require supportive care if the virus is not severe. More severe cases, such as: Influenza A and B, RSV, CMV, HBV, HCV, Varicella-Zoster Virus, HSV, etc. can be treated with antiviral therapy. HIV is treated with HAART therapy. In order to give you the proper treatment, our providers will conduct a full evaluation in order to diagnose the infection that is present. Testing will be done on site, and the samples will be sent to a lab in order to confirm the diagnosis so that you will receive the best treatment plan. Our providers will always follow-up with you in order to answer any questions you have. We will also can help with urinary tract infections and skin infections as well.
